7th grade girls were in action again Thursday night with their 3rd away game in 4 nights against Franklin County. The girls put up a good fight but fell to Franklin County 14-25. The score doesn't show the intensity they brought to the floor on both ends. They put up some great shots that just didn't fall and on the defensive end they rebounded and contested every shot. I was very proud of the girls tonight and saw progress in many areas. The Spartans were led by Kastin Van Meter 9 points 5 rebounds and had 2 block shots followed by Kyra Branstetter with 4 points 2 rebounds and 2 steals and Ella Hammons with 1 point 3 steals and 1 rebound.
