7th grade lady spartans were back in action last night and put on a great show, with some great defense and balanced offense. The ladies jumped off to a great start leading 5-0 in the first quarter and going into halftime with a 15-2 lead. The Spartans didn't let up in the second half and pulled away with a 28-2 victory, their second in a row. They have shown so much improvement from day one to now. We still have some work to do and lots of games left. Leading the way was Kastin Van Meter with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 block shots, Blakelynn Branstetter with 6 points, 2 rebounds and 3 steals, Ella Hammons with 5 points, 2 rebounds and 5 steals and Elli Benley with 4 points and 4 assists. The Lady Spartans are back on the road tonight against Greensburg Middle at 5:30.
